The concept of this interior picks up on the ideas carried out through the architectural reconstruction project of Novkabel development center. We strived to preserve the charm of this industrial giant in its original form, including the appearance of the interior while answering to all of the client’s requests regarding company culture, its identity and clearly defined guidance in line with the highest business standards.
Customer’s need for the workspace fluidity was a leading thought in arranging the workspace through creating an open plan with a large number of working stations but also with necessary isolated rooms for focused work sessions and meetings, as well as dedicated spaces for integration and collaboration. By placing a diversity of mobile furniture formations in numerous spatial entities with different atmospheres, we wanted to create an entire string of working sceneries and utilize flexible features of the interior adaptable to everyday needs and stimulating for the employees, just calling to be used.
Four inner courtyards contribute to the uniqueness of the place and add value to the space. Fresh air, green oasis during lunch break and above all, rest for the eyes weary from looking at the screen all day – benefit the health in every way, lift the spirit and improve productivity.
Giant space, with its central position, its volume and scale, shapes the main square or the hub – a place where things happen, a place of integration, a place calling for getting together, inspiring creativity, information exchange, empowering the sense of worth and a sense of belonging. By using transparent cylindrical curtains, we formed specific micro-cells for tasks requiring a more secluded environment, without imposing physical barriers and in order to preserve the continuity of the interior.
