The project InGrid Schneider Electric Hub – Transformation of the Novkabel industrial hall, designed by Zabriskie, has been selected by the Architects’ Council of Europe (ACE) for inclusion in its international exhibition dedicated to the renovation and transformation of the built environment. The exhibition is co-funded by the Creative Europe programme of the European Union and will be presented at the European Parliament, the European Commission, and the UIA World Congress of Architects in Barcelona, before touring across Europe.

Selected from a pool of 111 submitted projects proposed by ACE Member Organisations, the project is among the 20 projects chosen by an international jury to be featured both in the exhibition and in the accompanying ACE publication. Notably, two projects from Serbia were selected through the proposal of the Union of Serbian Architects (UAS), highlighting the growing international visibility of contemporary Serbian architecture.
In its statement, the ACE jury emphasized the exceptionally high quality of submissions and noted that priority was given to projects demonstrating innovative and sustainable approaches to the reuse of existing buildings, strong architectural relevance, and a comprehensive response to the criteria defined by the Davos Baukultur Quality System.

The selection of InGrid Schneider Electric Hub for the ACE exhibition represents a continuation of a series of international recognitions for the project. Following its presentation at the annual meeting of the Davos Baukultur Alliance within the framework of the World Economic Forum—where it was showcased as an example of good Baukultur practice—and its inclusion in the publication Davos Baukultur Alliance – Innovative Practices, the project was also nominated for the European Union Prize for Contemporary Architecture – Mies van der Rohe Award, further confirming its relevance and quality within the European architectural discourse.

Through this recognition, the InGrid project once again demonstrates the potential of industrial heritage transformation as a platform for sustainable, contemporary architectural practice that integrates functional, cultural, and social values.
